This case is the product of choice for anyone building a new PC, or looking to significantly improve an existing system. The first of its kind, it has been specifically designed to appeal to PC users not only because of its top build quality and clean, understated styling, but also because of its ability to attenuate noise.
The first thing you will notice about this case is its solidity and weight. Built using 1.0mm steel sheeting, the panels and framework are considerably thicker than ordinary cases. This not only reduces "tinniness" and unwanted resonances, but also assists cooling because of greater thermal capacity. The case also boasts excellent Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) shielding. The high-gauge steel gives the product a striking feel of quality, like cases used to have a few years ago when computers cost the earth!
Although important, the build quality is actually only half the story. Three different types of acoustic material are supplied with the case: an acoustic foam, acoustic barrier mass and a uniquely designed acoustic composite material. The combination of the different types of material, and their location inside the case results in a very effective layer of absorption for unwanted internally generated noise.
The acoustic materials are what make this case unique. The materials are pre-cut and adhesive backed, for easy self-assembly which will take around 20-25 minutes. Comprehensive instructions are supplied, with no less than 15 separate pieces covering every possible space and aspect. The cut pieces of material are all optional - giving you maximum flexibility when configuring the internal components. The finished effect is astounding!
